May yourself be with you

So I have been feeling a bit lost lately. And not directionally lost, however, I am still not sure which way is which most days either. But the kind of lost that you find yourself in when all the days motions are becoming - well, motions.

I knew I would feel this way as a mother. It is inevitable between working full-time, making sure you look half presentable, getting little clothes on those little bodies sometimes three times a day, pumping, washing bottles, worrying about supper... you get it.

And my husband could tell something was different with me. I was off. I just wasn't myself.

Myself. Who am I? I started to wonder that. What is my purpose? Am I doing now what I was meant to do? What are my hopes and dreams? Am I working towards them?

I am still searching for the answers and I am sure some of you are too. What I do know is that I am not on this planet by chance. I have a purpose.  It is to make a difference in other people's lives.

So now I set out to do that right? Wrong. First I am on a journey to find myself again.

What is it that got me so motivated to make a difference? What can I work on in myself that will help that goal?

I challenge you to do the same. Maybe your purpose is to be a great mom. Maybe that is mine. So what do you need to work on to make that happen?

The first step I am taking is working on my health both physically and mentally.
