The end of bottles, pumping and saying "no the toilet is not something to stand by to hold yourself up" is almost here!

You're probably wondering what in the world I am talking about. Or are you? If you are a fellow mom of an almost-one-year-old you know exactly what I am saying.

Bittersweet? Maybe.

I don't have a snugly sweet smell of newborn in my arms at 2:00am anymore.

I don't have the tiniest little endless pile of onsies to wash poop out of anymore.

I soon won't need to spend an extra half hour washing all of the tiny pieces of those Dr. Brown's Bottles anymore (which were a lifesaver but such a pain in the ass).

Oh and the toilet. No, I am not referring to my friend who hugs the porcelain throne when she has had too much to drink. No, I am talking about that stage in between crawling and walking... the look at me pull myself up on everything regardless of if it is sanitary phase.

My baby girl is growing up.

HALLELUJAH!

I said it. You're thinking it now or have in the past.

But man this stage stinks. No literally we are transitioning from boob milk to whole milk and I cannot evem begin to explain how nasty those diapers stink.

Looking forward to sleeping in more as they both get older too. Until then, it's off to bed to catch some zzzzzs it is...
